this is what white people do.

we take complex issues that people are discussing, pervert their meaning so that they seem ridiculous, project those warped interpretations onto the original discussion, and then dismiss that discussion as ridiculous when it’s OUR interpretation that doesn’t make any sense! 

and then we apply this absurd game of “if you care, you lose!” onto the whole thing and then mock other people for having feelings, 

all the while sneering at them because we think we know what it means to truly suffer,

all the while thinking we know what life is *really* about and that *we’re* the one’s struggling, 

all the while dismissing entire bodies of scientifically validated evidence and then viewing ourselves as the height of Objectivity and Reason.
